“I am very pleased with the progress we made these days and know that we will continue strengthening our EFL Programs together. I look forward to continuing to work alongside Edusoft and their team to serve tens of thousands of students we are expecting to have in our EFL Programs in 2020!”

Esther Carolina Euceda Garcia,
National Director of English Studies at UNITEC Honduras.

Recently, Edusoft’s Director of Pedagogical Implementation, Dr. Danny Glick visited Honduras to facilitate two weeks of face-to-face professional development trainings for teachers at UNITEC Honduras.

UNITEC is The Global University of Honduras with seven campuses around the country: four in Tegucigalpa, two in San Pedro Sula and another in La Ceiba, which combined have more than 20,000 students enrolled.

The workshop provided teachers with in-depth trainings on all aspects of Edusoft’s blended learning solution as well as provided guidelines for implementing blended learning methodologies in order to promote authentic communication in the classroom. Additionally, teachers were given the opportunity to develop their own lessons and receive meaningful feedback from both Dr. Glick and their peers.

As part of Glick’s visit, he had the opportunity to meet with groups of students from UNITEC. Students were asked to give feedback on the English Discoveries solution and responses from all participants were extremely positive. Students expressed how much they enjoy learning in a blended learning environment.

We are excited to continue our collaboration with UNITEC in 2020 and we will continue with our ongoing support which we know is an essential key to ensure maximum project success.
