Edusoft was proud to attend the 2025 COABE National Conference in Dallas, Texas, from March 30 to April 2. This participation reflects our ongoing partnership with Stewart Holtz, President of Techno-Ware, Inc., U.S. distributor for English Discoveries. We were also grateful for the arrangements and on-site support provided by U.S. Account Managers Jill Rosolek and Christina Piland, which contributed to a successful presence at this event.

The COABE (Coalition on Adult Basic Education) Conference is one of the largest gatherings of adult educators in the U.S., bringing together thousands of professionals to share best practices, explore innovations, and advocate for adult learners.
Edusoft’s Jack Pillemer, an experienced teacher trainer and curriculum expert, delivered two engaging sessions as part of the ESOL and English Language Learners track:

•“What Works? Principles and Practical Suggestions for Engaging English Language Learners” – a lively, hands-on session offering practical techniques to foster meaningful learner engagement, both in-person and online.

•“Infuse Authentic, Real-World Articles to Motivate and Build Essential English Language Skills for Life” – presenting a magazine-style reading approach that motivates learners and supports career-readiness, using content from English Discoveries.

Jack’s sessions stood out for their interactive format, humor, and down-to-earth insights drawn from real classroom experiences. Participants left with concrete strategies they could immediately apply to their teaching.
