Recently we saw the successful completion of the first in a series of pedagogical trainings for the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC). UPC is one of the leading universities in Peru, and is one of the largest universities in the Laureate network. Edusoft Ltd. sent one of their expert pedagogical trainers to UPC to train all 85 English teachers and English coordinators. This two-and-a-half-day training included both hands-on and theoretical pedagogical training. UPC teachers were given an in-depth presentation of Edusoft’s English Discoveries platform and management system, and completed the training with micro teaching sessions.

This training was a huge success and received extremely positive feedback from the UPC teachers and coordinators. Over 95% of teachers found the material relevant and applicable to their teaching.  Here is what a few teachers had to say:

Over 8,500 UPC students will be learning on the English Discoveries platform. This is a very exciting beginning and we are looking forward to the continued success of UPC’s English language program.
