Time Management Tips: Goals

Once your students have scheduled their tasks, they should create goals for each study session. Help them think of realistic, achievable goals, so they’ll experience success rather than frustration or burn out.

Help students make their goals as clear and specific as possible. For example, instead of writing: “Do English homework,” a student can write: “Read Lesson 1 Sports Article and answer the questions.”

The Unit Objectives screen at the beginning of each unit in our flagship product English Discoveries can also be used to help students plan their goals.
